Belgrave & Rothford works across the areas where brand judgement, audience quality and commercial execution meet.
Our work may begin with positioning, governance or customer experience, and extend through brand materials, content, direct marketing, events, digital commerce, websites, interfaces and bespoke applications.
The appropriate scope depends upon the brand, the audience, the commercial objective and the practical requirements of the assignment. We do not apply a fixed package where a considered and tailored approach is required.

Strategic Foundation
We define where your brand sits, who it serves and how it is protected.
Work includes market and audience analysis, positioning statements, narrative architecture, visual and verbal guidelines, brand materials, and governance frameworks for internal and external use.
The purpose is to establish a clear and credible position that can be understood by the intended audience and applied consistently across the organisation, its communications, commercial activity and customer experience.
Discuss brand positioning and governanceWe develop the physical and digital materials through which a brand is encountered, understood and remembered.
This may include identity applications, stationery, packaging, printed collateral, presentations, event materials, sales documents, campaign assets, digital templates, signage and other bespoke brand touchpoints.
Each application is considered in relation to the wider brand system, intended audience, commercial purpose and practical use.
The work may be physical, digital or a combination of both. The objective is not to produce materials in isolation, but to ensure that every relevant expression supports recognition, confidence and consistency.
Discuss brand materials and physical expressionWe consider the complete customer experience, from first exposure to post-purchase relationship.
This includes the way a customer discovers the brand, makes an enquiry, receives information, navigates the buying process, interacts with the team, receives the product or service and experiences the relationship afterwards.
The work may include customer journey mapping, enquiry processes, service standards, communication points, website journeys, digital interfaces, email, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger and other messaging or interaction platforms.
It may include automated replies, routing, qualification, reminders, follow-up sequences, human-led conversations, escalation from automation to a person and the standards required to ensure that the customer receives an appropriate response.
The objective is to ensure that the customer journey is consistent with the brand’s positioning and standards at every material point of contact.
Automation should improve consistency and responsiveness without removing the judgement, discretion or personal attention required by the brand.
A well-positioned brand can lose value through an unsuitable enquiry process, inconsistent service, poor digital experience, unclear communication or inadequate aftercare. Customer experience is therefore treated as part of the wider brand system rather than as a matter separate from marketing.

Commercial Influence
We manage end-to-end creator and content programmes.
This includes creator identification, suitability assessment, negotiation, contracting, usage rights, exclusivity, production, filming, photography, content approval, publication and reporting.
The work may involve individual creators, groups of creators, specialist publishers, editorial partners, production teams or other suitable content relationships.
We consider the relationship between the creator, the audience, the subject, the brand, the intended content and the commercial objective.
The focus is on alignment, brand safety, audience quality and commercial value rather than vanity metrics.
Every engagement remains subject to suitability, availability, budget, contractual terms, content approval, disclosure requirements, usage rights, exclusivity and the requirements of the relevant client or partner.
Discuss creator partnerships and premium contentWe design and refine the movement from attention to consideration, enquiry, conversion and repeat purchase.
This includes audience segmentation, messaging, channel strategy, landing pages, email and SMS flows, WhatsApp, Messenger and other messaging or interaction platforms.
The work may include campaign planning, automated communications, conversational flows, enquiry handling, lead qualification, routing, human follow-up, service standards and measurement tied to revenue, retention and lifetime value.
The objective is to create a coherent journey in which the communication, timing, offer, response and next action are properly aligned.
Automation may be used to improve consistency and responsiveness, but should not replace human judgement where personal assistance, discretion or a considered commercial response is required.
All communication should be designed with regard to consent, privacy, communication preferences, brand positioning and the expectations of the relevant audience.
Discuss direct marketing, customer journeys and optimised sales processesWe plan and deliver curated, high-signal events and introductions that support defined commercial objectives.
This may include private dinners, viewings, launches, hospitality, cultural occasions, sporting moments, brand experiences, client gatherings, private previews, larger public-facing events and other carefully considered formats where the relevant audience already gathers.
The scale and format of an event will depend upon the brief, the audience, the venue, the commercial objective, the available resources and the standard of delivery required.
Our role may extend from the initial concept and audience strategy through to venue selection, guest curation, invitations, partner coordination, production, hospitality, content capture, event delivery and post-event follow-up.
The emphasis is on relevance, quality, atmosphere, execution and commercial purpose rather than attendance volume alone.
We do not represent that an event or introduction will guarantee access to a particular person, audience or commercial result. Each opportunity remains dependent upon suitability, timing, availability, consent, commercial terms and the decisions of the relevant parties.

Digital Execution
We plan and develop websites, user interfaces and digital experiences that express the brand clearly and support the intended customer journey.
This includes information architecture, user experience, interface design, content structure, responsive design, conversion pathways, enquiry journeys, digital commerce functionality and ongoing refinement.
The work is not limited to visual presentation. A website or interface must be clear, usable, technically appropriate and aligned with the commercial objective it is intended to serve.
We consider how a visitor arrives, what they need to understand, what action they may take, how information is presented, how trust is established and how the experience develops beyond the first interaction.
Discuss websites, interfaces and digital experiencesWe structure digital commerce as an extension of the brand, not as a discount channel.
Work includes product and offer architecture, website experience, content-to-commerce pathways, digital merchandising and ongoing audience development, with attention to audience quality, buying relevance and long-term commercial value.
The work may include the relationship between content, product, enquiry, purchase, delivery and aftercare.
We consider whether the offer is clear, whether the route to purchase is appropriate, whether the experience supports the brand and whether the resulting customer relationship is capable of developing beyond a single transaction.
Discuss digital commerce and audience developmentWhere a client’s requirements cannot be met through an existing platform or standard website structure, we can develop bespoke digital applications and supporting functionality.
This may include client portals, booking systems, digital tools, internal platforms, commerce functionality, data-led interfaces and other applications required by the brief.
Any development is considered according to function, security, maintainability, user need and commercial value.
We do not recommend bespoke development merely for its own sake. The appropriate solution may be a standard platform, a configured service, an integration or a bespoke application, depending upon the purpose and requirements of the client.
Discuss bespoke application development
The customer does not experience a brand in separate departments. They experience the result of every decision, message, interface, conversation, event, transaction and act of service.
Our work therefore considers the relationship between positioning, expression, access, content, technology, communication, conversion and aftercare.
We turn positioning into presence, and presence into commercial action.
